WORKSHOP
LIVING LARGE

How to bring Ancient Wisdom into Modern Life

Through inquiring and practical study of the three texts
Bhagavad Gita, Yoga Sutras and Gheranda Samhita

with Yoga Masters Peter Ferko, Wendy Newton and Ulrica Norberg

MAY 7-10, 2020
at Yoga Shakti Slussen, Stockholm

Welcome to four days of deeper inquiry in body, mind and spirit. Through studies of three ancient classical and profound spiritual texts and what they have to offer us as yogis, teachers, creative minds, philosophers and pragmatics. Three texts through three master teachers’ learning, experience, wisdom and guidance where we will discuss, practice, inquire, try, assess, share and look into what it means to invite more philosophy into practice and the practice into philosophy. Why?

Well, our experience from practicing living for many years immersed in the yogic texts and techniques shows us how they can increase wisdom and awareness into our living! The guidance in these ancient texts is that in order to grow and evolve we need to yoke the physical with the internal in order to be more truthful, clear and healthy. In this workshop, we invite you to an opportunity where we will enjoy creative inspiration to the fullest.

Immerse yourself with us for your own growth, inspiration and benefit, as well as your peers and students. From the wisdom embedded in tradition, find new ways to interpret the knowledge through different thought schools and as well as through studies and practice.

Bringing Yoga Off the Mat: Self Study in Daily Living

A one-day live stream immersion at ISHTA Yoga, Friday Aril 3rd 10:00-5:00

Register here.

Join Yogiraj Peter Ferko and Yogiraj Wendy Newton for a one day live streamed immersion in how to live your yoga. We will explore what yoga “off the mat” really is by steeping ourselves in the question of how our own patterns influence how we experience life, and how our yoga practice can help us navigate change.

This day of contemplation, conversation, and practice is all about finding the right relationship with life, no matter what life brings. This has never been more relevant to us as individuals and communities as it is now.

Wendy and Peter are masters of sharing the philosophy and tools of yoga in an embodied, relational way. We will share texts, give prompts for guided conversation, and offer meditation and breathing techniques to help you ground your practice and grow your capacity for sharing from a place of self-awareness.

This will be a one-day, live-streamed experience with plenty of breaks and time for integration.
